Studi sul Reiki: le principali ricerche scientifiche sull’efficacia e i benefici

Sono ormai numerosi i dati e le pubblicazioni degli studi sul Reiki utilizzato con beneficio dai pazienti in più di mille ospedali nel mondo e strutture sanitarie in Italia.

Negli ultimi anni si sono moltiplicate le ricerche riguardanti il Reiki. Sebbene ancora troppo poche e migliorabili dal punto di vista del design scientifico (vedi il nostro articolo “Le evidenze scientifiche e lo stato dell’arte della ricerca sul Reiki“), ve ne sono ormai molte sufficientemente accurate da meritare la pubblicazione su riviste scientifiche.
Nelle ricerche che seguono abbiamo volutamente ignorato le numerosissime testimonianze dei benefici derivati dai trattamenti Reiki, aventi carattere descrittivo o aneddotico e quindi non adatte ad esami di tipo statistico, sebbene noi stessi abbiamo continuamente la gioia di essere testimoni dei effetti portati dal Reiki su chi li pratichi avendo frequentato un Corso Reiki anche solo di primo livello oppure su chi abbia ricevuto Trattamenti Reiki da un operatore.

Molti degli studi sul Reiki e delle ricerche qui elencate sono tratte da PubMed, la banca dati biomedica on line sviluppata dal National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) presso la National Library of Medicine (NLM). Sebbene non sia l’unica banca dati di questo tipo, con i suoi circa 16 milioni di citazioni di articoli scientifici dagli anni ’50 del ‘900 ad oggi PubMed è considerata il punto di riferimento nel suo campo. Il valore scientifico delle informazioni è garantito dalla selezione manuale dei contenuti condotta da qualificati comitati scientifici.
